I was delaying my purchase of a Nexus 5 to see what price point this would be launched at.

I can pick up a Nexus 5 for what equates to 280euro, so if the Find 7 comes in at 450euro I think I'll just keep the extra 170 for something else.
As an owner of both the N5 and the Oppo F5, I can chip in:
Pro N5: Software is better, more responsive, skin looks better
Pro F5: It's built sooo well, the N5 doesn't even compare. It's also very exclusive and looks great, people will ask you all the time what phone it is.

I'd love a F5 with N5 software. If they were the same money, the N5 takes it over the F5 because of the much more powerful CPU.

As for the N5 and the F7, one is a lot bigger with a huge display and battery. It's bound to be a lot more expensive to produce. The N5 is just such amazing value it makes everything else seem expensive. The F7 will be special, exclusive, build like a brick and look stunning

Looks like europe is only getting the diet version for now, the Find 7a, which comes minus that QHD screen. Shame.

That's what I'd heard. The screen is one of the key things that sets it apart from the M8, S5 and Z2 in my mind...

Of course, the beauty of the Find 7 is you can put Cyanogen on it easily, or anything else for that matter. They intended to offer is with CM out the box but Cyanogen went public I think so it didnt happen.

"Oppo is releasing the Find 7a for Europe and the US. It’ll be available for €399 in Europe, £330 in the UK and $499 in the US. Even though the specs on the Find 7a have taken a downgrade, it still ostensibly seems like it could be good value for money.

The Find 7a has sacrificed the 2K display for a 5.5-inch 1080x1920 pixel resolution screen, so still full HD. There is a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM, unlike the original’s 3GB. Storage comes in at 16GB with microSD support; you get a 32GB card free if you pre-order."

The headline is a peach isnt it:

"Oppo’s Find 7a smartphone is coming to the UK to satisfy those jealous of the Oppo Find 7"

eh no. How about satisfying the UK by giving them the 7.

I'm very tempted to wait for one of these Find 7's if they do indeed come to the UK. The screen alone seems to be something quite impressive.

Apparently the OnePlus One is £230. Just trying to find out where to get hold of one!

You can't currently, it's invite only currently. Stupid.

Wish the Find & would hurry up!

Marques Brownlee's review of the Oppo Find 7A is here. A good review which is 12:26 long.

Pre-orders are open again with a shipping date of 16th May. I just bit the bullet on one, mainly due to the idiotic invite system being used by OnePlus. You either want my money or you don't.

Given that 1+ don't seem to want to sell their phone and the find 7 is hanging around, I might wait for the new 805 chipset phones.

My 7a turned up this morning. Only had a little play with it, but very happy so far. Really nice build quality and the screen is lovely.

A quick internet search doesn't seem to offer anything new on when/if the Find 7 will be coming our way. My phones due for renewal in July so I've got a little time yet to assess the chances of us ever seeing it coming ashore.

Has anyone seen any more information on release dates for this recently?
