Yeah I am, it certainly can take got photos but I find full auto mode is very hit and miss. I tend to leave it in manual and play with settings now, but I don't feel the camera is as good as that on my iPhone 5.

Yup, I'm disappointed with the pics I've taken so far. Impressed with the options available to change various parameters, so I'll keep trying!
My old Blackberry 9790 took better with less faffin' though.

That sounds awful. The picture quality of the BB was notoriously bad, if I had any modern smartphone with that picture quality I would consider it broken.

To be honest I took a complete shot in the dark with this company after seeing someone on this thread ordered one so god knows what they're like. Handtec sounds like a company distributing "alone time" advice & toys to teenage boys LOL

They've been ace when I've used them in the past.

Just wary of placing an order for something that isn't in stock regardless of the company. (Phones4u iPhone 6 example).

I had a Bold 9790 and I have a Z1 now. The Z1 is better, but the 9790 wasn't a bad camera at all. The same sensor as the 9900 but with autofocus.

After a few more days usage I can honestly say what a great phone, even better than I expected it to be. Battery life excellent, genuine 2 -3 days (although I switch off at night) and the music player is sounds very clear with my RHA450 headphones. Std Sony ones okay. Disappointed I didn't get the sound cancelling ones though.

Not mastered good photos but will tinker this weekend.

Positive reviews bodes well for my impending Z3 purchase. December 18th is my 30 day notice period day. Then I just need to decide which network to go with!

Still trying. When I've taken a pic and checked it on screen, it looks decent. Good definition - but when I upload to "Media Go" it's just not the same pic! Lost focus/definition.
I have a Dropbox account but I can't seem to upload to that now.
Is there a loss of quality when uploading to "Media Go" ?
I chose that because it was easy to work out the "how to".

I'm really not impressed with the camera. Tried the Google camera app and it was a bit better but still seems a bit funky.
