Some nice additions you can change the drop down toggles the lock screen clock can be switched to a different style

The only odd thing I've noticed is the clear+ setting use to change the duel speaker levels but it seems to have no effect on it

Bit mixed for me, some seems quite slick, some I'm finding really clunky to use compared to the old versions (like unlock) and it's lost some useful features like the "close all" on running apps screen. No major bugs that I've hit yet, battery life seems slightly worse.

Same here, seems OK. Battery life I'm not really sure about, but the unlock screen is a bit clunky and no longer shows what apps have left me notifications which is a little annoying.

Had my Z3 Compact a few days now and very impressed with it in all respects. But a bit worried about how fragile they seem to be so have fitted a shockproof case from eBay, this exact one:

Downside is the case covers up the magnetic charging contacts so I've got to fold out the flap every night to connect my charger. I was hoping to avoid flipping the flap out regularly as I don't want to wear it out and compromise the waterproofness of the phone, so does anyone know of any shockproof case/charger dock combinations that will work together? Even if I drilled a hole in my current case I think the phone would still be too bulky to fit in the dock.

Is it not easier to take the case off to put it in the dock? That's what I do, but I don't have such a bulky case

Might the magnetic charger cable fit instead?

Just a bit of an FYI.

Had mine a few months, love it mainly due to the battery life. Hate some of the lollipop bits and the pre-installed crap from the provider.
Only problem was the back cracked, not sure when and I've never dropped it on anything hard especially not from any height.
I couldn't be bothered with warranty, the hassle of trying to get it fixed given the seemingly large number of other people with similar problems of front and back cracking.

£8 back glass off ebay, fitted in 5 minutes with a plectrum and some watch makers tweezers i had laying about and it's sorted, easy peazy.

My z1 compact is occasionally slow on unlock, likes it doing some updates or checks on unlock, since going to Lollipop. Anyone else had this?

Yep, turned my z1 compact into complete cack!

It's slower, drains battery faster, keeps dropping wifi, crashes, freezes, internet is slower, whats happened with controlling music from the lock screen? etc etc etc. I would go back to kitkat in a heartbeat

It really has messed it up to the point I'm thinking of going back to apple after a few years break. Never thought I'd say that!

I quite like the camera to do the security unlock though!

Pretty much the same thing has happened to my Nexus 7. Googles updates don't appear to by anything like as reliable on older hardware as what Apple has released - iOS8 on the 4S is pretty slick.

Ah that's good to know, was a bit worried about the glass but luckily no issues yet even after dropping it on concrete floor. A friend has a z3 compact that looks like someone has played baseball with it so will get on ebay!

I've had one of these for a week. Having previously owned an Xperia U and an M2, this li'l baby is like lightning. I love it. Just a problem with people not hearing my voice when calling (helped I think by turning off noise suppression). I might give the mic a blast with some compressed air. Plus I need a case and charging dock.

My Xperia Z2 seems pretty much no better or worse since updating to Lollipop.

My Z1 compact is more laggy than before, battery is about the same, but transitions and app opening is slower.

Yea I fixed my mates and hers also came unstuck, turns out you need to order the glue pack too but didn't mention that!

Lollipop is annoying me now, having settings on the lock screen might sound useful but it keeps turning on airplane mode or flashlight while in my pocket. Lock screen should mean locked!
