Yep I had to turn off the double tap as it was constantly turning itself on in my pocket and I'd find it on the emergency call screen with a load of random numbers already typed in, not good. Shame as it was a good feature.

Getting relatively poor signal on mine for some reason. Also the battery life has decreased alarmngingly.

Has anyone had problems with the camera?

My Z1 compact will now only show a black screen when I launch the camera. Clearing cache doesn't seem to make any difference.

Bought a Z3 compact at the weekend to replace my dying 4S...so far so good aside from realising how easy it's going to be to snap the covers off the charger cover...

Get the charging dock, it removes a lot of the fiddling.

Or if you don't want a dock then a magnetic charger or attachment to the micro USB for about a tenner. Works perfectly. On Amazon also.

This is a new problem, had the phone for ages and it's just stopped working!

Right, no idea what the issue was but I booted the phone into safe mode, which disabled all the widgets. Camera worked. Booted it back to normal mode and the camera worked. Started to enable the widgets and all seems fine so far.

Very odd.

I've got an odd one.

Bought a cheapo mag charger base, looks like the sony one but is about 95% cheaper. It used to work fine, now since the latest software update it only charges to about 80% then stops. My equallt cheap mag charging cables don't suffer in the same way only the base charger.

Very odd, but no biggy as I use the cable instead.

Apart from that its great, my wife even convinced her Mum to leave apple for one and shes now regretting going to the iphone 6 too!

Anyone happy with lollipop on their Xperia Z1/2/3 phones?

Been running with CM12.1 nightlies on my Z1 for while which aren't bad at all, but preferred the official Sony camera apps so back to stock 4.4.4/Kitkat.

I am liking it on my Z3, but then I have always used stock android so may not be the best

Wife has it on her Z3 Compact and her battery life has dropped off a cliff

I got my Z3c at the end of last week but only really started to use it properly this week now my number has ported over.

I'm running lollipop, but standard Sony ROM. I had it on charge sometime on Sunday. Had WiFi and mobile data on the whole time, made a few calls (maybe an hour in all), plus some moderate internet browsing (maybe 1-2 hours). Battery currently on 43%.

Have to say, it's an awesome phone. Everything I loved about my HTC One S, but quicker, a bit more polished and with superb battery life. The only negative is the glass back, this thing slips off everything!

Get a Nillkin case. Got one on my Z3 and it's great.

Fantastic phones but slippery little buggers. I used a Case Mate Barely There to stop it slipping but totally useless when my daughter dropped it. Now got the Case Mate Tough (along with a replacement phone) which does a much better job.

The screen has developed a slight issue on mine now, directly adjacent to the USB port. Anyone else seen this? And has anyone used 02's repair facility?

My Z1 Compact cracked on the corner of the glass/screen, after being pluuged in to charge overnight (not dropped). Seems a common issue. Sending it off to the insurers shortly. Not sure if they'll repair it or offer me a replacement. If so, I guess it will be the Z3. Not sure if I'd be happy with another Sony. Are the Z3s better built than the Z1s?

My 1st one had a knackered screen when I turned it on for the first time so 3 swapped it over, the 2nd one had the covering on the inside of the camera lens cover coming off so all photos looked foggy and 2 weeks after getting it back I have to send it back again as I woke up this morning to it showing no signal and not picking up any networks in spite of a full reset. Might get rid when it comes back from Sony again.
