Airport Express

Looking at getting an old airport express to take on hols to wi fi the hotel network in my room.
What are the differences between models, and do they all still work with the latest OSX?
I have read the latest update made the older express units invisible.

Should I just buy the cheapest off ebay or is there a better option?

Not quite as nice to setup as Airport gear, but I reckon this is a good travel router and also has a USB charger.

The old ones work fine, also they don't have power cables and imo much better for it.
