Dodsy - What are you doing that needs more?
I work from home quite often and shift some pretty big files around from my laptop. Then I have my desktop for web browsing. Then two teenagers with dual screen PC's doing online gaming, skype and youtube all at the same time. They also have iphones doing whatever teenagers do. Then my wife is using her laptop, we have our two iphones. Add in iplayer and other web based stuff (movies etc) on the TV.
Not difficult to max it out when everyones hitting it hard.
I'm also planning to setup NAS replication between two locations so 200Meg would be ideal.
I can remember getting excited at the mega speed offered by a 9.6k modem

In comparison, when moving, Virgin media turned my old house internet off on the Wednesday, and the new house service was active the following day, and we kept the same phone number too
Same here, but some months later I realised I hadn't had a bill through the post since my 3 month postal redirection expired, checked with the old house and they'd still been going there. Phoned Virgin to sort it out and the conversation was something like:"Well you need to tell us when you move house"
"I did, an engineer came round to my new house and set it up for me"
"That's a different department"
