Getting Thoroughly fed up of this invite system frown

I don't have hours to spend on their forum and thanks to lots of publicity from the guardian and the like the forum has all but crashed over there. I saw the forums jump by 20,000 members in a few days after a few newspaper reviews.

I only have enough time in the day to get on here with my job and home commitments, As you all know PH is a mad bunch of aholes most of the time. But occasionally we help each other and rally round people who genuinely need support when the st hits the fan. Over there though, its a joke vacuous and self serving just to get your hands on a phone with nonsense posting and thread for the sake of threads.

I think the thing thats really pissed me off Is I registered back in late april shortly after the first contest (the old destroy your phone to get your hands on one). I have been Nursing a Note 1 with a cracked screen and No word of a lie grey bodge tape holding the back cover on. I havent posted much at all so am still a cupcake. or whatever it is and then you see people begging invites only to see them pitch up on Ebay with often the same avatars on the ebay forums as on the invite beggers forum accounts for vastly inflated pricing.

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro for me if I cant get an OPO one in the next month and a half I think.

[edit]As PH rants go that was a fking terrible one!

You can buy invites on eBay for ~$30. Surely if you're that desperate for one to the point where you'd drive yourself mad from irritation wouldn't it just be easier to buy one?

I'm surprised you've not received an invite. I joined Oneplus on the 27th April and received my invite on the 17th July.

I hadn't participated on the forum system enough im still a freaking "cupcake" what ever that means. It appears that anyone who is more active than you above you in the list jumps ahead of you in the que,

I wish that was the case and if i saw one for circa £30 I probably would but people know they can get £150-200 more than the retail price if they buy the phone and sell it on.

Any invites spare? I gave mine away, but now I want to buy as a present.

Is the price still relevant? The find 7a, albeit £320 and only 16GB,looks like a great proposition that can be had freely within the week, and it eats SD cards.
As mentioned, I had dealings with Oppo before and their after sales are great.
Haven't gotten my hands on a One+, but the Find 7a is a staggeringly good phone.

Would love to hear if anyone has first hand experience with both?

I have a Find 7a and I'm trying to buy a OnePlus One for my mum. Someone give me an invite and I will gladly do a comparison review.

Would love to see that!

A bit off topic, how long have you had the F7a and what are your quick impressions?

I've had it since April and am still very happy with it. The build quality is great and it has a sense of exclusivity, seeing as most people haven't even heard of Oppo. The spec is still at the top end of what is available elsewhere and I have made good use of the SD slot with a decent music/tv selection for my commute. Camera is also excellent. I am also a big fan of ColorOS; it's a good balance of performance and additional features.

I can't really fault it to be honest.

Stop it! You're making me consider getting one more! Does the 2gig of RAM suffer when compared with the 3gig of RAM phones?
