That depends. If the extension remains connected to the lower front half of the NTE5 then no BB on extension. If you need BB on extension it's just a case of moving the line pair to the two IDC terminals on the VDSL faceplate.

That depends. If the extension remains connected to the lower front half of the NTE5 then no BB on extension. If you need BB on extension it's just a case of moving the line pair to the two IDC terminals on the VDSL faceplate.
I've not used that connection before but I'm curious for future reference - presumably it's a filtered data-only connection so if you connect the extension pair to that there's no voice at all (let alone a bell cct) and then you'd do some kind of RJ11 (or RJ45) conversion at the extension socket end to plug the router in?

Filtered would be NO data wink It's connected directly to the line. If you connect an extension to that pair at the other end you can fit an RJ11/RJ45 socket(or an NTE5 with RJ45 lower front plate) and plug a router directly in OR terminate to a standard socket & plug a filter in to connect a phone & modem/router. (or terminate to a faceplate with integrated filter-basically the same as a second NTE5 + VDSL faceplate).
