eBay Upload tool
Discussion
Does anyone use an application to upload to their eBay shop?
I have tried using Turbo Lister, but frankly find it appalling. As a standalone app it might be ok, but I cannot get it to read in the CSV file with any confidence that it will spit out the right pages.
I can write the CSV files, just need something that can log onto my shop and upload the necessary part. If it is able to give me some feedback on sales etc then even better. I am just a little dubious of downloading any old program for fear it may just clear out my PayPal account!

Must admit that I use the dreaded turbolister, but only as I can create templates fairly easily and then use them for my products, I don't use a csv file though. I then usually edit uploaded sales via Ebay's own bulk editor facilities which is okay for small numbers of products but could make Turbolister look good for larger amounts.
The other mainstream product that a lot of sellers use is Auctivia (not sure of the spelling but that's close) but I've never really liked the subscription method of charging for it although I acknowledge that you've got to pay for most things in this world. I don't know much about it so not sure if that uses csv files either.
One that Ebay have featured on a recent sellers info posting and I've been following for a while is Understanding E http://understandinge.com/ they're into the 'build a platform on Magento' type of thing. The advantage there is that you can then use the central database and upload to lots of platforms, so looks interesting but there's loads to take in. They seem to have started out selling their own items but I'd guess they get most of their income by affiliate links from the software products they deal with now.

I'm happy to write a custom tool for you if you'd like something bespoke. I'm just coming to the end of a 12 month project for eBay and I've been working with their API a lot. PM me if interested.
