Anyone got a OnePlus One?
Discussion
ok, i found a couple of apps that will hopefully get rid of the issue in the time being.
Fine Volume Control - works but is a bit messy the way it appears with every volume change.
Volume Control + ignore that, it doesn’t do precise control.
Its a work around for now. I have read thats its already been suggested to be fixed on the cyanogen support site.

Just in case anyone wanted one because of the swappable covers... http://www.androidauthority.com/oneplus-swapstyle-...
Because of the risk of damaging the phone trying to take the back off, swappable covers have been cancelled.

I have had my oneplus for a couple of weeks now.
It is tremendous value and you cant tell that its not from a "premium" manufacturer. In general I cannot fault it for the €305 it cost and i only have a small list of gripes.
Pro's.
Con's
I get though phones rather quickly. In the past 3 years i have had.
HTC Desire HD
Samsung S2
Samsung Note 2
Nexus 5
It gets expensive, most of them died though water or broken screens. The screens were easy to replace but water immersion causes a slow death normally. Its nice to have something that is easily as good as the market leaders, but doesn’t cause 600€ worth of sorry when I inevitably bugger it
Im happy to answer any questions people have about the phone, in conclusion it is a fantastic phone and the best you can buy at the moment. I am just very very picky about phones as they seem to hold themselves back when it comes to design and build compared to fruity products

- Great Screen
- Very good battery life. My nexus 5 was dead by 4pm with my normal use. The oneplus gets an actually real working day without a recharge. I’m talking 5,45am to 10pm. The only other phone that i have used that gets close is the other half's Sony Z1 compact.
- Solid build feeling. No where near apples level of finish but its as good as android gets.
- Its fast. not tested any games but there is no lag when launching apps or navigating around the phone
Con's
- Its too big. i knew this before buying it but it wasn’t enough to put me off. I jsut wish manufacturers would stop making thier flagship phones so big or simply launch a 4-4,5" screen version that isnt detuned in anyway. Thats a phone i would buy and love and not whinge about. The new Samsung Alpha almost got this right but then gave it average performance.
- Its not got that apple premium feel, but to be fair, no android really does... yet.
- ok, this is petty, and personal but i do not like the way the glass 'sits' on the front of the phone. basically without a bumper case fitted, one drop of this phone and i assume the display is toast. I was really disappointed by this, it makes a really nice looking phone look cheap and half arsed. The only saving grace is that the new iphone 6 does the same, so my benchmark for build and design as also dropped in my opinion.
- This is my biggest problem with the phone. The sound settings are terrible. The settable steps in volume control is only 7. So the quietest the phone can be set too is still loud enough to wake the dead. The alarm is shocking rather than a gentle wake up due to its minimum volume. In the office i have to have the phone on silent because the quietest notification is far to loud for me not to piss people off. I think this is a CM11 issue rather than a hardware issue. I have raised it as a bug with CM and also on the oneplus forum. I have played around with a couple of different ROMS trying to get an increase in volume steps. I am currently using mahrai rom. The ROM has settable steps (from 15-60) but the quietest is still too loud. The search continues.
