I have heard a rumour that they will be releasing at end of october? Not sure about that though.

The invite process will continue as it has done up to now. From late october you'll be able to place a pre-order; so when some stock comes available, then you'll be allocated one

Why? This is a good marketing ploy to get a product launched with limited supply but if they get their supply sorted it would be a strange way to continue. It works well in the early days but doesn't really lead into large volume supply of that's where they want to be.

Unlikely. They're probably from AliBaba.com. Now - as I understand it from looking at these import specs, they will work in the UK, but only on 2 of the 4 frequency spectrums we use over here. What this boils down to is that your choice of network is limited - so out of O2, Voda, Three and EE, only 2 of those would work. I can't remember which ones now. This *could* be an incorrect assessment, but is what I worked out based on the the specs available and is why I chose not to import one and wait for a UK model. There are plenty of people who have done so and are happy, however - according to reviews that I have read, no-one that I know, so take that as you will.
