They fked the invite up that someone kindly gave me. Hassling them for another.

So will the invite process still work despite the pre-order window having closed?

Yes, the pre-order runs in parallel to the invite system. The invites get the priority over the pre-orders - hence why there's a longer delivery time on them.

Sooooo, I was travelling while the pre-order window was open, and missed it.

Anyone got an invite going spare (are they tied to a particular model? What UK type price are we looking at?). If so, please send to rick(dot)haynes(at)gmail(dot)com

I've used banggood many times for RC parts ... no hassle with them!

I haven't clicked the link, but I reckon that the filter here at work may give me some trouble with that website.

Got an email from my pre-order saying it's ready to be dispatched apparently! Seems very quick considering the 4-5 week initial quote.

So those of you getting the phone for use in the UK; which network are you on?

Reading up I'm seeing that this handset won't get 4G on a number of UK carriers. For that read everyone except EE and 3. Wouldthat be about right?

That's correct.

I am on EE, and the 4g worked like a charm when I had mine.

And it works on Three too.

Didn't it get suggested that it ONLY works on EE and 3. It's other carrier examples that are presumably wanted....

Anyone switched from their iPhone 6 to one of these? Not sure if I'm clicking with the iPhone.

I read that it'll do 3g just fine for all carriers, but if you want 4g then it's EE/3 or bust

Yes, so it works fine on 3G on anything but only on EE or 3 on 4G. At least that's what you are asking and nobody seems to be answering.

I can't be bothered to research it myself right now, but the way to find out is to look at what bands the OPO can use, then look at which bands each network uses. This will tell you which networks it can be used on. I did look before and sort it out, but didn't write it down.
