The phone landed today, and it's a decent enough gadget. Bit big but I'm sure I'll get used to it!

Also bought a Diztronic TPU case, which should keep it relatively secure.

You're a star, I've used the invite thanks.

Apologies to anyone else who missed it. If I get one myself I will share on here biggrin

Out of interest how long do they take to arrive? I selected express delivery as I'm impatient and it was only £3 more.

Delivery is very good, usually. Should be with you in a few days with the expedited delivery.

For those that have had this a while, how are you getting on with...?

Just worried about the size, just seems a bit unwieldy, how are you finding using it out and about..

Coming from the HTC One (M7)..which is pretty much spot on at 4.7, just can't make my mind up confused

I have those two at the moment, and I think I'm about to sell on the OPO.

I reckon the OPOs major win over the HTC is the operating system, I think it's way better than HTC Sense. The back camera is also much higher res and can be crisper, but I think the HTC does a better job most of the time due to better calibration. I have no doubt that with some playing around with the settings the OPO could be as good in most situations apart from low light.

The screen seems to be better on the HTC to my eyes, it looks much crisper despite them being largely the same pixel density (401ppi for the OPO, 441ppi for the HTC) so I don't really know why that is. Colours are very good on both.

Anyway, I'm keeping the HTC as to me to feels a bit nicer, the camera is a bit better without needing tweaking and the screen seems a bit crisper. Also, I have small girly hands so using it isn't always a two handed job. The OPO is a seriously good phone though, I doubt you'd be disappointed with either.

I used to have a HTC One M7 prior to this and I got used to the size fairly quickly. Seemed very big when I first used but now when using anything smaller they seem painful.

That's the same switch I've just made, it is a big phone - there's no doubt about it but you do sorta get used to it.

The only thing that irritates me about the sheer size of the phone is having to do the 'hand shuffle' (where you shuffle the phone down in your hand - with the commensurate risk of losing grip on it completely) to reach the top of the screen and drop the notifications tray. I've found myself just opening the app directly rather than via the notification more recently, as it's a lot easier that way.

Thanks very much for the info, much appreciated. You've hit the nail on the head with my main worry; I too have carny hands and think I'd struggle to operate an OPO comfortably.
I reckon I'll go bag an HTC (sorry for the thread hijack, I really wanted one of these but the size is just too much).
I would wait for the OPT but let's face it, that's not going to be smaller.

As tested and documented many times on the OPO forum, the standard delivery is always quicker than the express one smile

I've got an invite for the bamboo cover (£32), if anyone interested. Although it's remotely possible it may have expired, as 've been sitting on it for a few days.
