The invite I gave out wasn't claimed, so to avoid it expiring here it is:

There's only a few hours left to claim, so be quick.

I've got an HTC One M8 at the moment, and when I was out yesterday, my mate showed me his new OnePlus One (that I've been advising him to purchase as he likes to get bargains!). I had a good play and frankly I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, so I'm ordering one. Anyone else gone from a One M8 to one of these? At one time the screen size would have been too big, but I've been getting used to bigger screens and now find myself wanting one. I also don't own a tablet (I have done but always end up selling).
I can't imagine why someone would pay double for a Nexus 6 (which I was going to get, but various things put me off). The camera seemed pretty decent to me and I've seen some fantastic images on the internet. It felt lovely in the hand too with that soft touch material. I've also heard good things about its Sound quality which is good news coming from the M8. Absolute bargainous price for what you get - basically similar spec and capability to a 64Gb iPhone 6+ which costs £700!

Ordered mine on Tuesday (crap website as has been mentioned) and it arrived this morning.
Painless to setup and liking it so far
Cheers,

Same here. Pleasantly surprised that delivery was so painless given the struggle with the website on Tuesday evening.Painless to setup and liking it so far
Cheers,

Hoping Vodafone manage to activate my new Sim at some point. And that I can fit the phone into my trouser pocket.

I had a play of both and in all honesty liked the Oneplus better. The finish on the HTC is something else though. Much nicer to look at.
Both didn't feel as good to hold as my N5, so I stuck with it thinking the N6 would be better, that was a let down to be honest.
Isn't Oneplus coming out with an updated version soon?

Expected during 3rd quarter of the year, so about 6 months away.Loving mine a week in, although coming from a 3 year old Galaxy S2 that had slowed to embarrassing levels (shop assistants getting bored of waiting for me to open a click and collect email and walking off) at least a year ago, that was never going to be difficult.
Question for the early adopters - have you noticed any slowing yet? Or decreases in battery performance? The lack of replaceable battery was my main concern before buying.
Don't use one personally, but I've got a couple I've set up with friends & family and I must say they are amazing for the money, much like the N5 was last year, or even more so.
They don't have any feeling of "cost cutting" afaik. Camera is great, battery is good, screen is stunning. CM is probably the best iteration of Android there is, as much as I like "vanilla", CM does take it to the next level with some small things.
All in all, very impressed. Oh and don't skimp on the extra bit of cash, and get the 64GB Sandstone. The "sandstone" finish is very nice to the touch and imho worth the extra cash on it's own. The extra 48GB of storage is just a bonus.

As above, I don't have a suit or jeans where my phone with the exact same outer dimensions doesn't fit.
The only pants I've seen that could be a problem are women's jeans, but they struggle to hold a 4" phone as well.
The wife carries a purse at all time so she might as well have a 6" phone for all she cares.
