I've got a lovely new feature since lollipop. There's a certain place with no signal that I go through on the way to work; I then have to reboot the fker to get data back. Most annoying. Going to have to roll back, I think.
Did you ever find a fix for this? I've got the same problem. Living in Norfolk means I'm always driving through areas with no data reception, and it never reacquires it. Just puts an exclamation mark next to the phone signal icon. Phenomenally annoying.

I am starting to get this after being on my home WiFi overnight and leaving for work. Best way to fix it for me is to quickly turn Aeroplane mode on and off.

I worked out that it seemed to be a result of me fiddling with the services; in an effort to sort out the plunging battery life after the Lollipop update, you could set some of the Google play services (buried in the 'Privacy' menu) so that they couldn't connect when they wanted to. Turned out I was more aggressive than I needed to be (and that the instructions suggested), and turned off something vital. I went through it all again, and only did the recommended changes, and it seems to be behaving itself. Switching between foreign networks still has the issue and requires a reboot, but it's definitely better.

I haven't had the heart to roll back yet, as it's such a faff. Not the actual thing, but I've got google authenticator and various other 2FA programs on it which is a chore to turn off on each one and re-sync. I've got it working so that the signal issue isn't too irritating. If I was travelling more, I might do that.

Having said *that*, I've just found out recently that Oxygen OS is now available for the OPO, and might have a go with that one rather than cyanogenmod.

I don't know if this will help you - but if you haven't got that much invested in the OS, it might be worth trying the Oxygen OS instead? Here's the link for installation instructions: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/oxygenos-is-her...

Has anyone got an invite for the oneplus two yet?

I was hoping to buy one for the wife and assumed the invites would be given out to existing oneplus owners first, seems I may have been mistaken here...

Nobody has yet, e-invites haven't gone out yet. Only those with psychical invites (from launch events) have got them, and even those chaps don't seem to have the handsets yet.

I've got an invite from the London event, but not used it yet, as I'm getting a freebie from them, which is scheduled to be sent out tomorrow smile

Those that used their invites on launch day have received their phones, but no follow-up e-invites yet.

This was driving me nuts. Every time I left home it obviously disconnected from my home wifi but would never reconnect to mobile data until I rebooted the phone. After trying lots of things I've finally managed to get it working properly by flashing an old version of the modem firmware. I tried the newer one from the Oxygen OS but that didn't fix the problem. The one that has worked for me is the XNPH33R modem.

I didn't want to be too cheeky, saw your messages on the OnePlus 2 thread too.

Unfortunately the link MrGRT sent isn't a sharing one so I'm still on the look out. Who knows, maybe mine will arrive this week [fingerscrossed]

I have an invite which I need to make a decision on tonight. Can I just ask

1) Did you have a One and if so is it a noticeable up-grade to the Two (worth the dosh)?

2) There are some documented issues with the home button when the phone is being held. Is yours OK in this respect?

Cheers

1: Tough call. Is it worth £280-whatever you get for your One? I don't think so, no. Although, I do love it. But probably because it's shiny and new. My initial observation is that the battery does not seem to last as long. But that said, it's installed a battery update. So perhaps that will change.

2: I've absolutely no issues with my home button. It works a treat for me.

Bottom line, it's really a tough call. I got my 2 free from OP. Would I pay out the money to buy it to replace the 1? Yes, I would when I got a bonus from work, or won a few quid on the lottery.

I see your profile says your're in the South. But not where.

If you're local to Bracknell, I can show you the phone this evening (I'll be there for footy practice) and you can have a play with it to your hearts content smile

Appreciate the offer but I'm on the South coast!

I'm in two minds but like you shiny new things are always good so I think I will probably bite the bullet and go for it. The Plus One has been exceptional value for money and a very good phone. Just goes to show what is around if you are prepared to move away from the established brands

I got my invite a couple of days ago, I was placed 380k in the queue last week when I checked...

I've used it though as I managed to break my one plus one 3 or 4 weeks ago..will wait and see what the new one is like :-)

When/if they start dishing out shareables I'll post them up on here.
