I got my invite a couple of days ago, I was placed 380k in the queue last week when I checked...

I've used it though as I managed to break my one plus one 3 or 4 weeks ago..will wait and see what the new one is like :-)

When/if they start dishing out shareables I'll post them up on here.
There's several criteria that they are looking at when dishing out invites, but by the sounds of it you're like me and got an invite because you bought the OPO and not because of your position in the waiting list.

@FatRat, I should stress that I'm not a 'power' or hardcore user.

I basically use it for the odd bit of email, social stuff, web surfing and taking pics. And for me it works perfectly. And no lag or delays or issues with anything.

I've not ever had an Apple device, so how the fingerprint reader compares (for example), I've no idea smile

Sounds just like me! I had an iPhone 5 and chopped it in for a OPO as my original plan was to get the iPhone 6+S when its released later tis year but the OPO is so good that I just look at the iPhone now and think "what a waste of money"!

I've actually purchased 3 OnePlus 1's (mine+family) but not had an invite yet. 39k in the queue last time I checked so fingers crossed my invite is near..

Ah, there goes my theory then biggrin

There doesn't seem to be too much logical order as to who is getting the invites, but it does seem like lots of people are getting them. This weekend sees a huge increase in invites given out apparently so here's hoping you get one then smile

Dropped a very heavy metal object on my screen, completely unresponsive to touch but still lit up.

Contacted OnePlus stating this had happened, that I wanted to arrange to pay for it to be repaired at my expense etc. Jesus fking christ on a bike it's like pulling teeth.

Their reply rate seems to be about once every 36 hours, even if you respond within 1/2 minutes of a question you don't hear back from them until the next day! They as for a photo, fair enough I send it. They escelate it to repairs, they ask for a photo!! Then they give you a price after 1 week of back n forth and tell you they want the phone for 3 week???????

I decided yesterday to get it repaired in the UK by raphone, its about £45 more but takes 3 days (would be same day if you took it down yourself rather than post)

yes I hope you get one soon!

I was registered fairly early on their forums (user 30,000 or so) and they said they included that in their calculation so maybe that helped?

There is a post on their forums where they explain how the queue works - people are split into tiers and also scored within a tier on a few criteria - it sounded pretty complex PLUS they were rolling out invites across all 4 tiers at once, albeit much more slowly in the lower tiers.

So there is a chance that if you happen to be the very first in tier 4 you could get an invite before quite a lot of people in tier 2...but generally most people in Tier 2 should get an invite before most of the poeple in tier 4.

I hadn't joined the forum which is something I wish I did. Will post when I (hopefully) get my invite.

I've bought 2 One's...and had an invite come through yesterday, not really looking to upgrade so it'll go to waste as i'm quite happy with the Cyanogen flavour of things.

I'd share the invite but think it's linked to the email, if I get another to share I'll dish it out.

Or you could buy it and sell it on to someone on the forum or a friend for what you paid for it, safe in the knowledge that if the person backs out they seem to be going for £400+ on ebay...

Very good point well made... if only there were some trustworthy souls on this forum looking for a OPT :-p

Had an email about the Wileyfox Swift last night - goes on sale on the 22nd (I still want the OPT), but in case anyone's interested @ £129.

Also got the email about the WileyFox. Kind of tempted at £129. That said, is it actually a good phone? The CPU seems a bit weak perhaps. Toying with either keeping my Moto G, getting a WileyFox Swift, getting a One Plus One, One Plus Two or saying screw it and going for an iPhone 6S. Hmm.

It's a new generation chipset, so while the model numbers are low, it's better than the last gen series - but that said, it's no flagship

The WileyFox Storm is due next month with bigger specs, i'm not a massive geek with phones or anything but at sub £200 it seems like a bargain next to the OnePlus Two?

Anyone know how to get rid of this st?

I updated my phone for the security and bug fixes with the promise Cortana can be disabled. Well yes, it can. This st apparently not. And it has broken the 'file open' function on Lightning browser (I do have a PDF viewer installed, but I can't select the ).

Pretty annoyed since it was not in the changelog.

Don't think you can. Avoiding this update for the moment for this very reason.

Had to happen sooner or later, it's been known to be coming for a while. Microsoft's sponsorship of Cyanogen isn't something for nothing... frown
