Anyone got a OnePlus One?

Don't think you can. Avoiding this update for the moment for this very reason.
Had to happen sooner or later, it's been known to be coming for a while. Microsoft's sponsorship of Cyanogen isn't something for nothing...
It annoyed me enough that I ended up installing Sultan's CM13 build. Had to happen sooner or later, it's been known to be coming for a while. Microsoft's sponsorship of Cyanogen isn't something for nothing...

Was a bh to install (or rather I cocked up somehow and ended up having to sideload everything via TWRP).

I did the update when the alert came up, had a go of Cortana, thought I didn't need it because its a Google phone and if I wanted to talk I'd say OK Google. Deleted the Cortana and microphone apps and carried on as I was. I haven't noticed any Microsoft popups like the screenshot.
It happens on PDFs for sure, don't know about other file types. Can highly recommend Sultanx's CM13 ROM though. Early days but battery life so far is unbelievable! Been up since 5 AM, using the phone quite a bit and I'm still on 97%. 3 days estimated remaining life. This ROM underclocks the CPU slightly by default, so I'm not sure if it's that or the improvements in marshmallow.

I've been using Sultan's build for a couple of months now. Great ROM!Was a bh to install (or rather I cocked up somehow and ended up having to sideload everything via TWRP).
I wonder what you did wrong installing it? Fortunately it went smoothly for me.

Can you go straight from Cyanogen OS to Sultan's ROM? (i.e. without wiping all your data). I really can't be bothered to backup and restore all my texts, etc. Was a bh to install (or rather I cocked up somehow and ended up having to sideload everything via TWRP).

Had to switch to Cyanogen OS to get Pokemon Go to work
Since then it takes a long time when leaving Wifi before picking up a signal
And I seem to have less bars than when I was running Cyanogenmod
That's interesting, mine won't pass the android SafetyNet thingy (even though it isn't rooted).Since then it takes a long time when leaving Wifi before picking up a signal

Mine wouldn't on CyanogenMod but does connect with CyanogenOSOther difference is I've gone back to stock recovery from TWRP and was wondering if that was the difference.
As its up and running I'm loathed to mess around as I'm enjoying Pokemon more than the tinkering at the moment.
Made some comment about short battery life when I first received the phone.
After living with it for a while now I have to rescind my comments. Absolutely fantastic phone and the battery is more than sufficient. The Dash charge feature is vastly underrated and I suspect may of the other manufacturers will follow this tech. There is also a considerable safety aspect as well not having a battery charging next to you whilst sleeping as many people do. I usually just charge it when I wake up for an hour or so and that sees me through most of the day. Might need 10 min when I get home from work but that sees me through the evening again.
Dash charge is by far my favorite feature on this unit.

PlusNet are launching a mobile carrier brand on the EE network http://www.choose.net/media/guide/news/plusnet-mob...
Will this still work on a OnePlus One? My phone has an EE sim, just wondering whether it being an MVNO brand and not actual EE makes any difference.
