Too many to remember but favourites were-

Sony Jp5e with the spinny wheel controller.

A few Motorola Razr such sleek things.

Samsung 820? Almost credit card thin, like everyone else mine snapped!

Had an original Note and now a Note 3, great things.

I really wanted to contribute to this list but I wouldn't know where to start. I get bored every six months and have a small problem with man maths. I currently own (and indeed use) a Motorola XPRT, a HTC 8S, an iPhone 5s and a Nokia 1520.

I do think fondly of my Windows Mobile days though. I probably owned around nine Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices. The MPX 200 being a favourite too! Until you ran out of battery and all your contacts/settings got lost...

Well ahead of their time smile

I remember the Nokia. The buttons were tiny and a bit of pain to use!

The best phone ever invented, I still have it in my bedside drawer!

They were great phones. This thread has brought back memories!

Couple of my favourites from the past

Ericsson T28. I remember playing the built in solitaire game on that tiny screen!

And also the old Nokia 8110 which I think I've still got somewhere

Nokia something or other.
Blackberry's

iPhone 4s piece of st. Dreadful OS. Knew after 2 hours that I'd bought the wrong phone. Was the OS designed for or by children?

Samsung Galaxy S4 - Fast, great screen, works very well when it works. Eats batteries every 2 - 4 months and O2 are a complete bunch of fking useless s. Gurus?! They're obviously taking the piss.

I still own most of the phones I've ever had, usually by the time I replace them they're worthless but I can't bring myself to throw them away!

In approximate order, starting in about 1999...

Nokia 5110
Trium Mars (still got both this and the 5110, both working but their old NiMH batteries are borked)
Sony J7 (stolen with the 8890)
Nokia 8890 (IMHO the nicest phone ever in terms of looks, stolen in a burglary!)
Nokia 6510 (still works)
Motorola Razr (looked cool, utterly crap phone though, sold it after a week)
Nokia 6230 (still works)
Sony Ericsson W800i (still works)
Sony Ericsson K800i (given away, think it eventually died)
Sony Ericsson V600i (first company phone, still works)
o2 XDA Orbit (works but digitiser is cracked)
o2 XDA Ignito (sold)
Nokia 6300 (still works)
Nokia 6303 Classic (current work phone)
Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro (still works)
HTC Wildfire (currently being used by the mrs after her phone was dropped in a cup of tea by our daughter!)
Sony Xperia SP (current phone)
Nokia 207 (unwanted "upgrade" from work, cheap and basic, nowhere near as good as the 5-year-old 6303 so the 207 is still in its box!)

Think that's all of 'em. Had not previously counted up the survivors but I seem to have 14 phones lying around at the mo...

[quote=Who me ?]

Earlier version in the
70's had three channels, and a bit bigger.

But back in the '70's, it was a 2 way radio system, not cell/mobile phone.

In '78ish my dad had 2 way radio phones in his car. Not true mobile.

Proper Motorola mobile came in about 1984 I think.

Hmm....in vague order from 1994

Motorola 5200 Microtec
Motorola 8200
Motorola Startac 130
Nokia 6110
Nokia 8850
Motorola V50
Motorola V66
Sharp GX-10 (My first colour camera phone!)
Motorola RAZR Silver (on launch day!)
Motorola RAZR Black
Motorola D&G RAZR V3i
Nokia N95 8GB
Nokia N96
Nokia N97
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung Galaxy S2
IPhone 4s
Samsung Galaxy S5 (now)

May have missed a couple of second phones, but that's the list of main phones!

Edit: The original silver RAZR really was a design classic, remember the day I got it going to a bar with a mate, and literally 5/6 people came over and asked for a look and asked what it was. Never remember that sort of interest from strangers about a phone.

I still have a few of mine.

The big Motorola was the first dual band phone and the smaller one to the left was the first tri band phone. There's even my pager in the middle bottom.

The highlights would be Ericsson T29s, my first BlackBerry Bold (9700) and BlackBerry Z10. The Sony I have now is ok, but it is marred by being Android.

I've only had two phones, an Alcatel with a brilliant scrolling switch/button, your thumb could operate most functions, really easy to operate, even with gloves on.

The battery died and I was given a Nokia 3410 which I still use, it needed a new battery after about 8 years and I treated it to a new cover after our puppy chewed it. It needs a charge only every 3 or 4 days and has been dropped on concrete floors, sat on, left in the rain, in mega hot parked cars etc and is all the phone I need.

It must be 12 years old and often causes hilarity when I am seen using it but my friends and family have blown thousands on the latest phones in that time. I have the last laugh, especially when they have to repair yet another broken screen.

Too many to remember however; like most it started of with Nokia.

Anyone remember 12m contracts?!

Here are my favourites:

Nokia 3650:

Sony Erricsson K800i

Sony Erricsson K850i

This samsung was a pile of poo and broke soon after I got it so I just went back to the K800i

I can't remember what was my last phone before I entered into the realm of Smartphones which started with an iPhone 3G, then I moved to an HTC Desire HD running Android and now I'm using a Lumia 920.

I would have to say my favourite is a toss up between the K800i and the Lumia 920.

K800i was great when the joystick worked, which was infrequently.

The K850i had a stunning camera, I loved that phone!

Owned a few, but by far the best was a BlackBerry 8800. Apart from the lack of camera in 2007 it was amazing. E-Mail, web browsing and more... On my phone! Then got a BlackBerry Bold 9000 in 2008 which was a better phone, but the magic was lost... On an iPhone 5 now. BlackBerry don't make good smartphones anymore.
