Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden my lloyds bank mobile banking app keeps closing down as soon as I open it.
I've got the same app on my iPhone 5s and it works perfectly.
I've tried deleting the app and loading it again, shutting down all other apps that are running in the background, re-booting the ipad, but still no joy.
One other thing, I can't find the app in the App Store on the ipad, I have to load it via the internet, but all other apps are working fine.
Thanx.

I had this when I updated to their new app. I don't know if there has been a further update that allows it to work on ipads but mine is ok now.

Try updating it again, or removing it completely and reinstalling.

If you seach for the iphone app is it there? Could be it's only available on iphone and that may give you some idea why it's failing.

Does it auto-update your apps? iOS8 is with us in less than a month and I know we're updating apps to work with this in anticipation, maybe the app has updated and something within the new app doesn't like an iPad??

Isn't the Lloyd's app fairly new also, probably not gone through tonnes of testing compared to other mature apps, and if the above is true regarding iOS8 maybe they never tested the iPhone update on an iPad?

You may have a point, I tried searching my ipad for the iphone lloyds app and it came up straight away.
I'll wait and see if the software update fixes things.

Just to update, after searching around to find a solution I found that if I held the ipad in the portrait position rather than the landscape way I was able to register the device for the app.
How the hell does that work then.

I think it's always been an iphone app, but it kinda worked-ish on the pad.
