Looking for a travel router recommendation

I've used a travel wifi router for many years. You connect to the hotel's wired ethernet, it logs in (so only one device charge in hotels that charge) and sets up a mini hotspot in your room. All your devices automatically connect to your hotspot, no config needed.
Has worked brilliantly for many thousands of travel miles. It's starting to be less usable, because hotels are scrapping wired connections and only offering wifi.
So I'm looking for a wifi equivalent. Can't find one; maybe they don't exist, but I can't isolate search terms to narrow it down sufficiently.
It would connect to the hotel's wifi on one channel, then set up my hotspot on another, so dual wifi radios. That's it really: anyone got any suggestions?

Are you sure? I couldn't get it to do that. It is really good as a 3G/4G router (and even used it in America with Three's "feel at home") but I couldn't get it to redistribute a hotel WiFi for example that required a login.boxst said:

No, I'm not sure because I've not tried one myself. I am only aware of the facility because I was looking at the difference between the Huawei E5776 & E5372 the other night and remembered that the E5372 had this facility.Is your E5372 the Three version? I'd imagine that Three might customise the firmware to prevent connection via WiFi to ensure you use their pay for services.
OP; Suggest you Google for "portable travel wifi router", that seems to throw up various options and reviews to sift through.
If you travel with a laptop then check out Connectify, works perfectly.

Still checking the Huawei, seems difficult to get an exact spec for the device which is going to arrive at the door, might just have to get one and see.

Yep, that's broadly what I was searching for, every item on the first three results pages was the old spec of fixed ethernet into wireless access point. Newc said:

If you do go for it, I'd suggest you go for the genuine retail version from the likes of Amazon and not one from Three.Newc said:

£30 travel router, the size of a USB stick. Use it for all my travels. Can power it off a mobile battery pack and it's also a gigabit ethernet adapter too should you need it to be.
Takes a hotels wifi internet, lets you sign in, and then shares it out as a private wifi. Job jobbed.

Netgear Trek N300. I just bought one a week ago to use at a Haven site to share the wifi use amongst a number of devices.
Wasn't fast (although I suspect that was the Haven WIFI rather than the N300) but worked fine for the 4 devices we used.
Oh and I think the terminology for sharing a WIFI connection is WISP. Searching on that might find more products.

I've been using one of these occasionally. Quite handy because it has several modes plus can also act as a USB charger so one less thing to take. It wont work if the Wi-Fi login forces a browser capture page though.
