No, but you're probably paying extra for that capability.
I doubt you are paying any more - most of the Chinese market phones are dual-sim and many manufacturers are just churning out phones based on the MediaTek SoC boards which are practically all dual sim - the models useful to us are the W-CDMA / GSM dual sim where as in China they can also use the TD-SCDMA / GSM dual sim models.

Keep us updated. I was just checking out the THL T100s Ironman last night, sounded fairly decent although battery life not meant to be great.

I don't know how my Desire S has lasted over 3 years in my pocket, I don't really want to give up on it (just the right size too) but feel I should replace soon; although the main thing I strive for is a better camera function. Nothing really stands out though, unless I were to pay £350 for a One Mini 2 or Z1 Compact.

Phone arrived yesterday. First impressions are that it seems well built and the screen is phenomenal for handset of this price. Usual Android features so I'm chuffed to pieces with it. The phone came with a screen protector, two cases (one a flip case and the other a silicone(?) type rear cover, usb, charger, instructions and earphones).

One slight, well massive issue, is that it uses a full size SIM - I currently use a Micro SIM but looking at the adapters on eBay and Amazon they will take a week or so to arrive. Does anybody know if I go into a 3 store whether they can just sort me out with one there and then? I've tried ringing my local store but no reply and I can't face dealing with the customer service agents at 3 at this time of day wink

Thanks

Don't know about 3 but Carphonewarehouse sell sim adapters for a few quid. They make your micro sim into a normal sized one.

Hmm, loads of people have them lying around.

As for the phone stores, they now come in three sizes that can be "pushed" out, and depending on your sim insertion type you can actually use the remainder of the plastic as an adaptor:

Might ask a phone store if they have some of the plastic laying around.

Would the dual sim be an issue?
No, but you're probably paying extra for that capability.

I'm actually interested as to how well the dual sim works on this phone as I'd like to get one myself.
For what it's worth, I bought a dual-sim iNew V3 back in June as I needed to dual sim handset for working in Africa, that would take my local african work (full size) sim but also my own personal UK sim (which was a micro at the time). The handset was only 110GBP although I did have to pay import tax from China, however am truely impressed with the handset.

Android system, slick to use, really thin, nice looking phone as well. But the best feature is the dual sim and how they are both active at the same time. Means everytime you want to call or text someone it gives you the option of which sim to use, instead of having to faff around changing between one and the other.

I got the same phone from Tesco. £10 upgrade fee from my sim only plan, £13.50/month for 750 mins/5000 texts/1Gb data.
