Had an issue from day one but only just getting time to think about it after nearly 2 years!

At home Im sure its a 3500 router. Problem is iphones and laptops regularly lose wifi contact and/or the router drops the adsl connection.

Then to get a phone to reconnect you have to reboot the router and phone.

Really a PITA now as to begin with it was just one phone and one laptop so it was only me inconvinienced every so often. Now with 4 iphones, ipad and four laptops it happens every few hours which winds everyone up!

Is this a router issue? Sure I read someone the 3500 wasnt good with apple stuff. Or is it a config problem?

Its pretty much out the box settings AFAIK, only change is using opendns

Thanks

Edit: just to add its a mix of iphones and laptops all of which connect fine and remain connected to other wifi networks. Plus it drops even if you are in the same room as the router.

I've been using a new time capsule with a mixture of ios, Mac, windows and android devices with no dropouts or probs.

You sure it's just the apple gear losing connection, not everything?
Could be that your router is in need of replacement, though 2 years seems very soon.
