Mine has said they want me to go on a security/ethical hacking course now.

If I sign to say I'll stay for 2 years or pay it back...

Nope, read the books, watched the nuggets.

I get one book with exercises, one without and the videos, it helps I have a vmware cluster at home but it's not needed.

I never said it wasn't. As it happens I didn't have to sign anything, which is just as well, as the course was very poor.
