yes: I'm actually still on iOS 6 on my 4S, having seen iOS 7 crawling on my wife's 4S. The trouble is I don't want an iPhone 6 and the 5S is now only coming in 16 and 32GB...
Careful Rob, rumour has it the iPhone 6 has a DBW throttle... wink
Oof!

I always have bluetooth on, so nothing has changed there.
Ive reset the network settings too.

I'll give it a full charge tonight and see how it is tomorrow.
I do like the new thing showing battery usage % per app etc

Usually with an iOS update folk moan about battery issues, these are often caused by Apple setting everything to ON when you phone reboots. Just go through your settings to ensure it's not now running something you don't ordinarily use.

Background app update. After the upgrade, over 60 of my apps wanted an update as well. It does that in the background, but still rinses the battery.

I installed swiftkey on my iPad 4 and there appears to be no gesture typing? I couldn't see where to switch that on.

Besides, since the update its like everythings running about 10 frames per second. Slow and jittery.

To be honest, I don't see why swiftkey is so popular. Even on my HTC One M8 its dog slow. The google gesture keyboard is much better.

You have to download swiftkey and enable it in settings.
And then press the globe on the keyboard until you reach Swiftkey
Yep, done all that, still no swipe to type....

Can anyone remember if it was mentioned that you would be able to airdrop between an iOS device and a Mac?
I'm sure I read it somewhere but its not working at the moment, maybe its with Yosemite

Predictive is bizarre; it only suggests up to three words. No option for scrolling through a list (as you can on Symbian, WP and Android).

It is a useless "feature", so I will be switching it off.

.
On the contrary. I've used the predictive keyboard to type a few sentences where it's predicted the entire sentence.

Perhaps I'm just very predictable though smile

All fine on the iPad here, but Twitter has started giving me notifications for all and sundry and I'll be buggered if I can work out how to turn off the unwanted stuff and retain my normal notifications!

You have to log into your itunes account to get the 'free' U2 album...so if you don't want it, don't log-in. wink

Just upgraded both my 64Gb ipod touches and it's both good and bad.

Good - Selecting 'Larger text' in Accessibilty, now works on Lyrics. Previously lyrics was displayed in ultra-small 5 point text, even if 'Large text' was selected. Also if Lyrics overlay was selected and track was skipped, lyrics of previous track was still displayed. Correct lyrics are now matched to correct track. \0/

Bad - 'Invert Colours' is still broken. It should only work on the UI and NOT on content. 'Invert Colours' should NOT invert colours of Album Art.

EDIT:White text on black is easier to read but the inverted colours on Album Art should not be happening.

Bad - American-ism's still in Settings. 'Invert Colors' in Accessibilty despite UK English being selected and 'Center' instead of 'Centre'.

Does anyone know how to turn off the 'frequently visited' sites in Safari? I know you can delete them but I can't see a way to stop them from appearing in the first place.

On that count it is exactly the same as Symbian, Android and WP. But on those it allows you to scroll through a list. So whilst it is an improvement in ways, it could be better.

Overall its a pretty solid update. Don't have quite the same urgency to upgrade my 4S smile
