Mines still having a strop with wifi, I thought I'd aced it by disabling the 5 mhz setting on my router but it worked for a little while then stopped again.

Its really strange, it seems to work fine at random for short periods. It was ok before I installed IOS 8.

Weird, working relatively fast now

Had the displeasure of that overly complicated and customisable piece of crap for a work phone. Sent it back and changed it for a £60 Lumia.
Lucky you. Apple pulled ios8

I'm still having the wifi problem as well, just so you don't feel alone! Hopefully it'll be fixed soon…

No they haven't. They updated to 8.0.1 and then pretty immediately took it away again so back to 8.0

To be honest, i haven't noticed a huge general running improvement on my 5S.

A few bugs though!

not to be fuelling a fire, but has there ever by a "general running improvement" when updating iOS?
Extra functionality, yes, but generally running "better"?

I've no idea why but it's back to working great again today. Wifi stable and fast as before the IOS8 update. I haven't changed any settings or rebooted since yesterday. Very odd.

That'll teach me for updating straight away, seems it's best to wait a few weeks to let them iron out all the glitches first.

It's always best to do that, look at the business side of things, when Windows 7 comes out they didn't just get all their new computer with windows 7, same with Win 8 now, they always wait for a while 'till everything is in place.
We do the same for the devices, iOS and Android alike, wait a couple of weeks before updating them.

Also, it often avoids an extra update to be done, so for example 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 can be done in one update instead of two with two weeks a part.

Using this thread using sarfari since upgrading to IOS 8.0, when ever I post something new, I Have to pull the page down as it slips too far up the page to see what your typing, using Chrome it's just fine.

Tried and gave up uploading to photobucket with sarfari, Chrome, just fine.

Chrome just seems to load faster, think I mentioned Photobox on sari, message comes up saying it didn't support that site and recommended Chrome.

How crap is that.

Just upgraded the IPad 2 to IOS 8.0.2 - Safari zips along nicely now. The 'freezing' in version 8.0 seems to have been fixed.

Overall seems pretty close to IOS 7 on performance, if not the same!

Dare I say happy days!
