Recently received my THL5000 but my old iPhone earphones don't work in it for some reason. The supplied ones are really small ones that go in the ear (I know nothing about earphones but they have really small end that you have to shove right into the ear if that makes sense?). Does anybody have any recommendations for iPhone type earphones? I'm not looking to spend fortunes as it's just for listening to Spotify on the morning commute.

Thanks in advance.

I have some soundmagic E10 earphones, they are awesome for the price at £30.

Much more comfortable than the standard iPhone ones too, with the added benefit of not sharing what you're listening to with everyone else around on the tube/bus/train etc.

Sennheiser seems to get the vote at the budget end of the market. Certainly mine, for less than 15 quid, are excellent.

I recently bought a pair of these for the gym, they might be knock-offs and I'm not sure how long they'll last but for £6 I've no complaints.

ETA: They're in-ear, I'm not exactly sure whether you're looking for that sort or not? I find them much more comfortable than other 'phones.

For commuting you need good isolation, so in ear monitors is recommended, balanced armature ones isolate better than dynamic ones, so my suggestion would be Soundmagic PL50 or Brainwavz B2.

The Soundmagic and the TDK ones look good but they are the ones that go right into the ear aren't they? These tend to irritate me. The iPhone ones just seem to sit on the ear if that makes any sense?

They are in ear, but to be able to isolate for commuting (on a train?) they really have to be in ear.

Ok sounds like 'in-ear' is the way forward although they are usually slightly uncomfortable. Out of the above two which is the best to go for?

Thanks

These two sound better than the ones you have linked to, and are cheaper as well.

I've got the bottom link MEE sport Fi I only use them for running and find they're brilliant for the price. They also came with different sized ear pieces to find the optimum fit.
