Sounds great from what's been gleaned so far..

My Nexus 5 has just recently smashed it's screen by taking a high jump so I'm hoping the 16th is accurate with immediate sales.

I've read that it might also be called the Nexus X

Woah. Big screen. I was waiting for the nex6 but now I'm not so sure. The Nex5 feels plenty big enough already.

I've had a Nexus 4 and currently use a Nexus 5. If it really is a 5.9" screen, I'll give it a miss - that's just going to be far too big to fit in a jeans pocket comfortably. I want a sodding phone, not a phablet!

Yay! Another Phlablet! rolleyes

I don't expect it any time soon but what I'd really love would be a small, high-end Nexus phone. Something (dare I say it) iPhone 4 sized to make an idea companion to a Nexus 7.

Guess I'll just have to stick with Sony instead.

I read on Reddit the other day that they might indeed be making a 'small' version too.

Looks good. I was a bit shocked about the size of the thing, but seems it's actually slightly smaller than the iPhone6 if this graphic from reddit is accurate:

I've just ordered an Ultra Z with a 6.4 incher. It was only £220 sim free so couldn't really resist shiny new toy syndrome. So this Nexus is seeming a little small all of a sudden.

Saw a pic next to a lg g3 and it is huge (if leak is N6).

I was going to upgrade however once android l is on my nexus 5 I don't think it will be worth it. No new toys on the N6 just better spec and bigger screen yet will look the same on the screen baring size. Looks like an increase in price to. £350 ish+

Would like a new nexus 10 before the phone upgrade. Still works great but could do with a boost in specs.

Screen definitely too big for me. Currently have a nexus 4, wife has a nexus 5, was waiting for the nexus 6 to upgrade mine, will be going for the Sony z3 now I think.

5.9" is too big imo.

Beyond a certain point I think you're in that no mans land where the screen is still too small to be a replacement for a laptop/tablet, but too big to be practical as a thing you carry in your pockets & hold up to your ear.

The Nexus 4 was ideal for me. It's just a pity the only decent replacement at the moment seems to be the Samsung Galaxy Alpha :/ I'll be sticking with my 4 for the foreseeable future.

At 5.9 inches it will be a great replacement for my Nexus 5. I just hope the battery life is a lot better which is my only criticism of my current phone.

Take a look at the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

Thanks for the headsup! Still expensive compared to a Nexus of any description unfortunately :/

It's around £350 sim free from Clove. Not too bad. Think same price at Handtec too.

Cool. It can go on my list, although my 4 seems to be OK for now. I've only just replaced my 7 (2012) with the (2013) edition, the older one is just too slow with only 1GB memory.

Anyone else sick of the endless speculation about the phone?

I'm genuinely keen to see what it's going to be like, but if I have to wade through anymore blatent clickbait articles with the same speculation that's been posted a million times already (it's 5.2" and/or 5.9", faster than the fastest Android thing!, etc) I'm going to go mad.

So many different places all saying the same thing, without actually saying much at all.

Bloody hurry up Google and quell this nonsense!

Love my Note 2 but that Nexus screen is even larger and it looks like a curved phone too from some pics?
