I use 7, it's an old laptop.

How do I stop the windows 10 window popping up and asking me if I wish to upgrade now or later?

In my experience 10 is faster than 7 even on old hardware.

Upgraded from 7. All seems fine but it now takes 3 - 4 times longer to get to the desktop for some reason and yes boot drive is a reasonably speedy OCZ ssd! Before there was no logging in message, but now, it is logging in Digger which seems to be slowing it down.

I use the utility from Gibson Research www.grc.com. It seems pretty simple and straitforward.

I installed the GRC app on my Win7 pro 64 laptop some time ago, and have never seen that upgrade prompt. smile
I also set the laptop to only download critical updates, and not install them automatically.
