I've got the Apple leather case on mine and I'm not convinced. Whilst it looks great and the brown leather is ageing nicely (patina?) it leaves the bottom edge exposed and isn't especially grippy. Silicone would address the grip issue, but it still leaves the bottom edge open. The problem I have is one of my cars has a lightning cable and one has the 30pin to lightning adapter. With my old iphone 5 and the genuine leather case I had to pop it out of the case each time I wanted to plug it in!

My wife has a habit of smashing iphones so she has an Otterbox Commuter, does what it intends to very well without adding too much bulk. The hard outer case isn't too grippy though. We also bought the Symmetry case as an interim and thats quite good too, very secure, not too bulky and passed the drop from waist height onto a hard floor test!

I'm tempted to get one of these AQUATIK cases to try to: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/taktik-360-aqua...

Another fan of the official Apple silicone case due to the extra grip. Echo somebody's comments earlier about popping the phone out of the case for a regular clean to avoid any build up of grit, and hopefully it won't stretch/deform too badly.

I noticed the other day that CEX had a selection of the official leather and silicone cases in (sealed) at £22 for silicone and £25 leather for the 6

The blue is very nice! I only went for brown as the store had run out!

I bought two Spigen cases from their .co.uk website on Thursday afternoon (4pm), got an order dispatched email on Friday and they arrived with me today.

I went for the Gunmetal Slim Armour for my 6+ and the Neo Hybrid in Reventon Yellow. I'll see which one I like the best and perhaps sell the other one to a workmate who also has a 6+.

I have the Slim Armour on the phone at the moment, seems to be a very well made case and would appear to offer significantly more edge protection that the leather Apple case I already had. Very impressed with Spigen delivery times too, extremely quick!

Folk with cases that have a metallic band around them - are you having signal issues?

no but then mine is insulated by a rubber skin.

My understanding is that the signal itself can by weakened by having to pass through the metal - hence the little plastic strips on the 6 & 6 plus.

I got a Verus Iron Shield shipped in from the US because the case choice is always miles better over there, and I'd see this one get good reviews. Got it on Amazon.com and it was free shipping. About £25 all in.

The amount of st quality cases I've bought and binned, I'd rather get something decent quality even if it's an arse to get hold of.
I have one of these but bought the Apple leather case too.

No doubting that this is significantly better at protecting the phone but I'm a huge fan of the Apple one.

Subsequently I have one if someone wants it... £25 delivered and I'll pop it in the post tomorrow.

I had a Cygnett Urban Shield carbon fibre case for my iPhone 5, which I thought was great, so bought the iPhone 6 version. Its a good case, the only downside is that the 30pin to Lightning connector doesn't fit with the case on.

Yes. I ordered a Spigen Neo Hybrid case (link below) and it reduced the signal strength by 1 to 2 bars. Lovely case protection and feel wise but couldn't recommend it based on my experience.

I've just changed my Spigen case as the outer band had cracked!

I picked up a Griffin Reveal, £10 at Sainsburys!

Lovely slim case, clear backed. Very nice!

I've as usual got another Otterbox commuter case for my 6. I don't treat my phones very carefully due to my active lifestyle and they have always protected my iPhone faultlessly. Not the best looking case but they protect your phone very well.

Every case I've got messes the look of the phone more than any phone I've had before. Does anyone use the phone naked with just a glass screen protector? The only thing I'm worried about is the screen cracking if it slips out of my hand, I wonder if a glass screen protector can guard against this.

I occasionally use mine caseless, but find it is a lot slipper and also more difficult to hold than the case. Not using a screen protector on mine and it has been fine so far.

Why not use one of these - http://www.proporta.co.uk/iphone-6-leather-sleeves... or any other similar. I've always used these type and never had any problems.

You can still use the phone naked but when you don't you slip it away.

I have this.

Its brilliant as I like the naked feel but wanted something to stop it being so damn slippery!

Still thinner than my old iphone5 with this case on. Some people I have shown the phone to didnt even realise it had a case on until I showed them. The case is basically as thin as the rear camera which means its protected when set down too. Best £4 ever.,
