Can someone DEFINITELY confirm that 3 don't lock handsets please. No disrespect to the poster who mentioned it inferred BTW
You have not disrespected me but you have my family. I can confirm what I posted but as you don't believe what a random person on the Internet posts here's the official link for the article from three. http://blog.three.co.uk/2014/08/04/phones-sold-unl...
I didn't know that and it was at odds with my (old) experiences of 3. You have just made someone I know very happy

Your welcome. Obviously if they purchased the phone prior to three releasing that info then they need to contact three to get it unlocked.

Many thanks for the info especially the Three unlocked option. So I scrap Orange, sort 6 out with Three (keeping my number), give phone to Wifey, unblock my Orange 5 and wang in the Three sim? No headache/issues?
To me that sounds fine, the only issue I see is SIM card size If it's different between the 2 but a quick request to three for the correct sized sim if you don't already have it will be dealt with quickly. Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
