I just did it and I SEE what you mean as I edited a song and gave it a fictitious album title. I saw your 3 dot thing but then when I click off that track it then displays as normal - I suspect its a time lag thing. I have done it with 2 other tracks and the same has happened
hope to god you are right, otherwise I have hours of editing to do

were you doing this to tracks from itunes which might be more robust? Mine were external downloads copied to itunes
Look it was the Johnny bloody Marr cd rip alright ! I'm gonna buy it honestly !

I can't tell you how many hours/days/weeks it's taken me to get my iTunes collection in order, all nicely labelled, artwork, compilation albums correctly listed etc.

I cringe every time there's an update or I need to move my collection to a new machine.

yep, exactly the same, wince on every update wondering how the next version is going to try to screw up something I have just got perfect - this one seems to have been extra special

I was trying to work out how to manually add artwork and found this thread. It helped in so much as to persuade me to keep persevering at least! Heres what I found:

If you trying to add artwork manually to wavs, it wont work. But if you convert the files to Apple lossless, it will!

Who knows why. Hopefully that will be of some help to someone.

Cheers

Another update, and I preferred the old way!

This time when updating the track info, if you press the space bar it automatically selects whatever artist was highlighted. Plus you now can't just copy artwork into it, you have to have the jpeg saved on your computer.

If you copy an image from google, you can paste it using ctrl V if you are in the get info > artwork tab

Ok will have to try this later. Can't remember if I did it this way or right clicking.

still an utterly stupid "enhancement" to not allow right click, and not allow you to paste on the blank image box in the Details tab

Once again proves the point, iTunes on Windows is a bug ridden p.o.s
