Been thinking of getting an iPod Touch to store music films and other stuff for mobile entertainment. Had a look on the store and it says compatible with "•PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or late". Will this be ok on Windows 8? I tried to call them but got some strange automated message.

It seems to be a little hit and miss out of the box, but should work with a little fiddling if required: E.G..

Seems to work fine out of the box. I bought the 64GB version thinking I have lots of CD's, it will fill up quick. Started loading them and thought start with stuff I really like and if I run out of room I can leave out the stuff I don't listen to very often.

Loaded about half of my music collection, stuff I listen to regularly. Not even used 20GB. Now uploading films and documentaries.
