Has anyone got any sense out of the iCloud photo library yet?!
I've turned it on on my phone and it spent ages uploading all the photos, yet when I go to Photos on iCloud.com or beta.icloud.com to go direct to it, its just got a message saying add some photos from your devices.

I'm lost....
More or less working fine here. First upload and then download had some of the photos appearing out of order, but a resync sorted that out. So far, quite liking it and it's the closest Apple has gotten yet to having all of your images on all of the different devices. Quite impressed it also syncs the changes made to images whilst maintaining the non-destructive nature of the edits.

Battery life on the iPad air sucks.
Carried out the usual checks for background apps running, usage etc, not very good.

Perhaps it's just me, but I didn't find 8 and I am not finding 8.1 particularly slick when it comes to Safari (iPhone 5S)

The response on trying to complete a series of "drop downs" - like bank security etc - is poor as I seem to have to hit "Done" after each entry (which didn't happen before) and back swipes are "notchy" and slow compared to how it used to be.

I have to say that almost everything else is working pretty happily, and overall that makes me quite happy too...

I'm getting a week out of it. iPad Air. Its left in sleep the whole time (not turned off) and is constantly picking up mails etc. It probably gets tens of minutes a day of screen time, mind. I don't watch video on it. Then I'd expect eight to ten hours or so - no more.

Are you getting less than that?

Couple of hours if that, one game and a bit of browsing (no, not that sort of browsing). But I was in a hotel with a weak wifi in my room. Just got home and resetting with the back up to hand but wonder if the wifi uses more power if it has a low signal? I never turn off either, at the hotel, went through the usual suspects.

Edit. Before reset, trying it at home. Been on 100% for ages, certainly not dropping as fast as the last few days away. I updated the iPad then went away for work. Interesting.

My understanding is weak wifi will use more power to try and receive the signal.

Running 8.1 at work on my 5S, another 6 and also a 6 plus.

Why is it the 6 plus doesn't show the message forward option but it does on the other phones?!

I've tried to find an option in the settings but can't see one.

Anyone know?

To forward a text message, I just hold down onto the message where there's options to "copy" or "more". Hit "more" and at the bottom right there's an arrow which will open a new message.

Yes, I know smile

That is working on the 5S and the 6, but it won't work on the 6 plus.

On the 5S and the 6 the reply bar at the bottom of the screen changes to the one with the forward arrow in the bottom right corner.

On the 6 the reply bar does not change, and it simply selects the message you have tapped on and gives you a delete option.

What's wrong with me today. I'm mis-reading everything. Sorry about that. I've no idea why it's not working on the plus to be honest. Wish I could've helped.

Would appear to be so. One to add to the experience list though I cannont say I have had such a rapid drop before, but then I have not stayed at that hotel and the signalometer was low.

I First iPhone (6), running iOS 8.1.

I don't think this is do-able, but I'll ask anyway. Is it possible to speed up the scrolling action in Safari? In comparison to my old android phones, it's like wading through treacle hehe

What is going on? Each update is getting worse. My iPad 4 is crawling. Wifi? slow, animations? Slow, loading apps? Slow. Safari only seems to load what you can see, instead of the whole page. So when you scroll you just get a white page and you have to wait for it to load up. Then when you scroll back, what you just looked at is gone.

And the fricking key board is ste. I keep hitting the smiley face instead of the button to switch to numbers and symbols. It's nfuriating. Looks like like I'll have to do a fresh install.

Ok, this (iphone 6) being my first iphone, I'm constantly discovering "quirks" irked

Was writing an email earlier, and I wanted to attach a document. Seemingly there's no attachment functionality beyond attaching photos stored on the phone?!

Seriously? Surely I'm missing something here...

Edit: seems I'm not missing anything banghead

On my iPad.
Lost bookmarks a couple of times.
They magically reappeared after several minutes, thank the Lord.
Why did they change the position of the bookmarks from the right side to the left, not a big deal but awkward if you're right handed.

Only issues I had was with Bluetooth pairing the iPhone 6 to my headset and car stereo. Not tried the stereo but the headset now works.
Paired the iPhone to the car stereo via Bluetooth and it works. I said a couple of days back that the phone was getting hot but it only seemed that one time. I rebooted it and it's been fine ever since.

What document? You can email documents from the appropriate application (iBooks, etc) - usually with the 'Rectangle with Upward Arrow' symbol.

I'm talking about being unable to create attachments from within the email app.

Can't believe it's quite so arse-backwards.
