Mobile Internet Stopped Working?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 running latest software.
As of this week the internet has decided it will work as and when it likes. I haven't done anything difference, just noticed when I tried using google maps a couple days ago it just wouldn't connect in the same place I've done it the last 2 years.
When it does eventually connect it'll last a few seconds before disappearing again.
Coincidentally, it has also been playing up since I told Vodafone I'll be leaving them......
But seriously, anyone any ideas?

Just thought I'd bump this as I'm well and truly confused/suspicious now.
After attempting to leave Vodafone they gave me a offer I couldn't refuse (unlimited calls + texts, 1GB 4G data, 300mins to 08 numbers for £11.25pm 12 months) and now my internet is working spot on everywhere.......
After doing this I found out the next phone I want to buy - one plus one, doesn't support the band Vodafone uses for 4G
