I have a Huawei 1750 with a 3 mobile sim in it.

It connects fine via my laptop in Bristol but when my girlfriend uses the same laptop in London, it fails to connect to the internet. 3 have been more than useless! Any ideas on why that would be the case? The dongle is getting "full" signal in London too so its not that.

Could it be a 4G thing as the 1750 is only 3G (and Bristol is only 3G as well) whereas London is 4G now (I think)

Any suggestions appreciated!

They are turning off 3G bandwidth/cells to support 4G users in a lot of areas.

Also, there may be too many people trying to use a particular cell.

Ah, maybe that's the case. I'm going to try a 4G dongle and see if that makes any difference.
