iphone 5S (although also happened on 4 & 4S) when receiving email, some emails only download the heading with the message 'this message is only partially downloaded' and no content. Beneath this there is a 'Download remaing xx.x KB' but pressing this just refreshes the same page.

Anyone know why and how to get all emails to download? only happens sometimes but can be annoying when out and need the info.

Email will download perfectly to computer, this is only on the iphone.

I get this sometime when on low signal and the only solution I've found is to select the message from the inbox, move to a different folder (drafts, sent etc) then move it back.

It happens to me when I go into the email too early (i.e. before the phone has downloaded it). Then it says this message.

I close the email app (fully by double tapping the home button) and then go back into it and WAIT for it to download before I open that email.

I do similar.

But, I put it into trash, then pull it back out and back into the inbox folder.

Reading the above, I guess the answer is - that it has to be removed and replaced.

It only happens, when you loose 3g signal halfway through the download. Usually when you are in a moving vehicle.

Thanks all, tried the above suggestions to no avail. Also happens when using wifi but only certain emails.

The only way I can access the content is to go to the email server and use webmail but it is a bit of a faff, oddly if I forward said email to myself from my computer then the copy received on the iphone displays fine? confused
