I flashed the Nordic version as I believe that it is a smaller market for Sony to test the releases out. I used flash tool that can be found on XDA devs. Not had any issues so far.
Presumably you end up erasing the phone to do this? How did you back it up/re-add the data?
It is recommended to do a full reset but I just flashed over the top and didn't loose anything. I was prepared to though. All my data is backed up to Google though and I don't really care about game progress etc.

Has anyone else had issues with Bluetooth connections to OEM carkits?

The wife's Note3 was updated a few weeks ago and since then it's had real issues maintaining the BT connection to our Mercedes' COMAND system (MY2014). It connects fine but when dialing it disconnects and displays "Waiting for Bluetooth Telephony..." (or something like that). It will do this several times before eventually working. Voice-dialling (the COMAND version) does the same.

Dealer can't find any firmware updates for COMAND and attempts to remove the pairing, including clearing settings/cache on the phone, have made no difference.

No chance, I looked at a mates identical phone today and a lot of the apps have gone all green coloured and have different functionality that I cant be arsed to learn.

Glad I told it to stop updating.

I put the initial roll out of Lollipop onto my Nexus 7 (2012) as soon as it rolled out to the device. It was a bit crap compared to Kit Kat but over the weekend i've had 5.1 pushed out to the device and it's much, much better.

Seems the roll out is pretty slow. My partners Nexus 5 is struggling on the original lollipop and she has yet to have the 5.1 update get to her phone.

I had the initial rollout of Lollipop to my Nexus7 and it rendered it pretty much bricked (laggy as fk, problems with wi-fi, knackered battery life and charging) , I've pissed about with it for months and finally I've just gone back to 4.4.4 but it's still got charging issues. Have I got a knackered battery as well or shall I just throw the whole plot away and start again with a Samsung Tab

Thanks for that.

Since it looks like it'll be out within the week I'll just save the hassle and wait for it, I think.

As opposed to the paragon of reliability that has been the Nexus 7?

No probs, can't believe some of the issues people are having with stock devices. My Z3 has been great, no issues.

I've a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and it's been without fault.

That said it's due an update to Lollipop in the next few weeks - already rolling out in other countries.

I have an Android phone and Windows tablet and I like both, so maybe that's a good path.
I'm now the same. Just picked up a 2nd hand surface pro for £250 and love it. The handwriting recognition is brilliant and Windows 8 makes So much Sense when using a touch screen.

Finally gave in to the incessant prompts to upgrade my Moto X 2014 (Motorola direct version). Left it long enough for any issues to come to light, app problems to be fixed etc.

No problems so far.
