Not me, but I have noticed WiFi taking up a lot of juice since 5.1.

I will try mine when I'm in the car tomorrow morning, but I think I have the same problem.

Nexus 4 here, randomly switches off only since lollipop.

Strange one that just started happening, whilst receiving calls the screen doesn't light up so I have to press the side button then all that displays is a notification bar saying 'Google dialer' or something, the phone is still ringing and I can't answer the call confused

Chaps just made the move over to roid from Ios, it's taking a bit of getting used to over the iphone software that's for sure, but over all I'm quite liking it.

Couple of things though I cannot work out is.

How can you change the battery icon to show battery %?

I have a keypad lock when the screen is a sleep, when I wake the phone and enter the password, it opens up the phone book, is the a way of setting it to wake to the home screen instead? (small issue at that but would prefer it didn't)

Is there a better email client as I have personnel gmail accounts and work accounts I need to see. I seem to be having a connection problem trying to setup works email accounts through gmail app? (might just be me though)

What handset and Android version have you got? Different manufacturers configure the OS in slightly different ways so that may influence the answers you get.

For the battery %age issue, go into your settings, into Power or Battery (depending on handset etc.) and check the box marked Show Battery Level. At least, that's what you do for 5.0.2 on my HTC One M7.

There is no Android setting to show the number % but you can do one of two things.

Install this (which puts a number on the tiny battery icon, but can't be seen easily) it enables an Android feature they don't enable themselve - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.k...

Or this, it puts a proper number % on the left side of the notifications and can also show you what apps use the most juice - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com....

I use GSAM above.

Got the OTA for 5.0.2 on Thursday, which bricked my Xperia Z2 5 seconds after launching Youtube. I'm currently waiting for the battery to go flat so I can try to reset it.

Open the left hand side flap and use something pointy (drawing pin, pencil etc) to push the little red button. That will force it to restart.

That's pretty up to date. Sony only got their arsed into gear and bothered to put 5.0.2 out last week.

My Nexus 5 upgraded to 5.1 yesterday. I've seen an immediate improvement in battery life which is good.

Any Nexus 9 users seen 5.0.2 or beyond yet? Mine's still on 5.0.1...

All updated on my Z3 compact.

I feel the battery life suddenly isn't as good, and my el cheapo magnetic charging base now refuses to charge past 75% battery for some reason now too. My other magnetic charger works fine however, so I'm assuming its just coincidence and its bust.

I like the notifications on the home screen as I missed those from my Iphone. Not much else noticed yet though.

I hope that that's true and it comes to Sony soon.

In the last two days I've noticed my battery seems to drain quicker. I hope that that changes soon.

I've a largely unused ASUS TF700T that's still on the latest available for that... 4.2. Pondering upgrading it - looks a fairly involved process on the XDA devs forum - is there no magic 'click here' app that will handle the whole upgrade process?

Keep an eye on this:

https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

FWIW 5.0.2 seems to be Nexus 7 and 10 specific. I'm disappointed that Google are dragging their feet with 5.1 on the Nexus 9. Currently their premium tablet. 5.1.1 is now deploying on Nexus Player FFS! Give us 5.1 at least!

Chrome Tabs on the "task" button is just wrong.
You should be able to turn that off in Chrome - Settings - Merge tabs and apps
You, sir, are a bloody genius beer
+1 on that, it's been annoying me since upgrade. Largely indifferent to other changes, and no reliability/reboot problems.
