Tempting, idea would be to stick the current 750GB HDD into a USB caddy for movies/music/docs etc. problem is though...
From experience, 120GB is just tolerable for Windows 7 + user profiles + boring office programs, but nothing else. By the time you've covered what is it, 40GB for a base Windows install, a 8GB swap file, a 8GB hibernation file, etc etc, you're halfway full without having done anything.Tempting, idea would be to stick the current 750GB HDD into a USB caddy for movies/music/docs etc. problem is though...
- 120GB might be a bit tight for Windows 8 + Steam (Skyrim/Euro Truck Sim/L4D2 etc.)
- USB caddy would be 2.0 only, no USB 3 or eSATA ports...
- Not sure if my laptop is actually has a SATA 3 interface (I'm sure it would still work, but not as fast as it could? It was quite a cheap laptop and there's some obviously cost cutting, so wouldn't surprise me).

This power pack?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LFA05TA?ref_...
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, its way way to low in power with only 2600mAh.
Look at these instead:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/13000mAh-External-Technolo...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omaker-Exterior-10000mAh-B...
Not much more but have 4 times the power storage, little bit bigger.
Think TRADAR55 code will work with the Omaker to reduce it more.
Thanks. Do these charge up fine with cars' cigarette lighters then? Also, how do they fair with partial charging? My idea is that whenever I drive, I normally plug the phone in to give it a boost (rarely drive far enough to charge 100%). So the idea is to charge up one of these portable units in bouts of 10m to 60 minutes (which wouldn't be anywhere close to a full charge). Would I bugger up such a unit doing this?http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LFA05TA?ref_...

I just gave one to my folks and they want 2 more, 1 for each car and 1 to take on holiday, that way their phones never run out, all it needs for you is a car adapter to mini usb cable to charge it... I was using my laptop and then when fully charged it should do at least 3/4 charges of a full iphone/ipad before running out.

polaroid tvs are making the hits on eBay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Televisions-/11071/i.htm...
They are only £250 normally (£150 black friday) and people are trying to flog them for up to £320.
They come with probably no warranty as they are 2nd hand, plus an LG/Samsung 42" tavs are on for £264-280.
Some people just ended up with multiple tvs they won't be able to shift.
Tempted to make an offer of £140 to each of them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Televisions-/11071/i.htm...

For that kind of money I wouldn't worry about it.

Edit: that Omaker only has 3, 4 and 5 star reviews. Never seen that before on Amazon!

I hope they end up not being able to flog it, and would be dreadful if they had a lot of their time wasted with silly offers.http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Televisions-/11071/i.htm...
