So I managed to get an invite to Inbox about a month ago and have been using it ever since. Today my Gmail account (using Chrome) asked me if I wanted to move over. So far it's working well. I love that it's grouping all of my genuinely unimportant stuff and I can swipe it all away in one go. Must admit I also really like the new design ethos that they've moved to. My Moto G hasn't been updated to Lollipop as of yet but looking forward to it!

Any one else using it that likes/loathes it?

Move over?
I really like it on mobile and desktop, but definitely need gmail for anything more challenging than a quick check/reply.

I really like it but it doesn't seem to do calendar invites particularly well. I got one on my phone and it didn't recognise it. Nothing with the webapp but GMail picked it up fine.

Meh. Tried it, and found I went back to the standard email client.

I've been using it for about a month now, I love the concept but have found some issues:

On Android:
Sometimes I get notifications about new emails and then sometimes it wont give me notifications??

On ChromeOS:
The web version can be quite laggy.

I've had it a while, think I prefer the standard Gmail. It's actually caused me to miss a couple of emails which I wouldn't have missed in the old Gmail which kind of defeats the whole purpose of it.

I really like it.

I have it set to hide notifications from a number of bundles and deliver them to me daily at 7am so I can read/archive them in one go if nothing is of interest.

The ability to snooze emails until a certain time or place is also genius and I wouldn't want to live without this feature now.

Case in point, I recently ordered some train tickets for a couple of week's time. Trainline sent me the code I need to pick the tickets up at the station, I simply snoozed that email to be delivered again about an hour before I am due to travel. No more searching through emails looking for the correct code, it'll be right there waiting for me on the day.

Tried but haven't gelled with it. I am tempted to spend a bit more time on it and get used to it but feel that its still very Beta at the moment so I will wait until it has matured a bit more before I make any big moves.

If I go both feet first into it, I think it could be very useful. As another poster said, I like the fact I can have certain bundles come through at a set time.

Snooze function is great. Not used the hide and deliver function, going to have to look into that.

The snooze feature is a great and useful idea - the hard-coded default time of 07.00 is ridiculous though. Who the feckity wants email delivered then? A decent minority I expect, but not the majority I'm sure. It's a bit of a faff to change to a 'custom' time every time, but the deferral you refer to above is set in stone - can't be change nohow. irked

I have it and thought it was just 'fine' - then I logged into normal Gmail again and found the old version incredibly frustrating and disorganised: it really is something you get used to and appreciate it!

I think it's great, I'm using the snooze by location a lot and love being able to clear the inbox easily. Only issue, as mentioned above, is notifications being a bit flakey but I'm sure that'll get sorted.

Those saying emails not reported, it's not just miscategorized as low priority?

Nah they are in all the categories, double checked and all the categories are set to have notifications.

Tried it, then realised I had the standard client configured to do most of what I want already, so it's gathering dust now.

Always use device clients anyway, either phone or Thunderbird/Icedove so makes little difference
