Apologies before I start but, my wife has a Nexus 7 with a couple of games on it- KandyCrush and something about rescuing pets.
She's getting a Nexus 9 for Christmas off Santa, can I transfer the levels she's at to the new Nexus or does she need to start at level 1 again.?
Sorry, said it was trivial.

Candy crush uses fb. I use a fake account, this syncs progress.
Find out about the other game, a number of games just use the google account already to sync progress.

You can have multiple accounts on a Nexus device, one for you (as you've set up) and get your wife to log in using her credentials and it'll sync most stuff - that said, a lot of games save progress locally on the device rather than in the cloud, much like text messages on a phone.

Added her old account to the new Nexus but still back to level 1.
Not on Facebook, could she open a fake a/c as suggested. How would that work.
How I wish I understood these things, every time I think I have learnt something new I discover two new things I don't know anything about.

Merry Christmas all.

On the nexus 7, try going in to settings then accounts, click on her account and then press menu followed by sync now. Make sure app data is selected.

Once done, go through the same procedure on the Nexus 9.

Not sure if it'll work, but worth a bash.

Possible that the game stores data locally on the device then. Google and see what comes up?

Yes, they'll connect over bluetooth for file transfer, but you won't be able to transfer game data.

Had a google about and this is apparently how you do it http://android.wonderhowto.com/how-to/transfer-any...

Thanks Steve, could do with sub titles for the hard of hearing in parts but I'll try that this afternoon when she's out.
How's Oban. Wife still keen to move, we looked at a Plot in North Connell earlier in the year but not easily developable. Not sure I wouldn't want to be nearer the town at my age...Ganavan?7
She wants sea view and beach to walk dog, I want motorsport connections and music venues.

Classic Numptie fail unfortunately
THe link one needs me to link the android devices to my PC but wouldn't download whatever it was supposed to download.
Another link wanted me to root the android devices, whatever that means....
Oh well she can start again from level 1

Do either of thos games allow you to Login into "Play Games" via G+ account?

If so do that on her Nexus 7 and and do that, then do the Same on the Nexus 9

Thats what i do on my Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 simples.

The Play games app is already on the device.

Love your username Igiveup....
I don't think we/she/I has a a G+ account to be honest. I'll investigate, but when I get these devices I try to avoid anything with an account, username, new email or password which I immediately forget....

Why thanks..

You do have a gmail account though which you login on the device with?

If so this links to your G+ account. Although I believe those games you talk about only use Farcebook to login with.
