We actually have them again.. For a while I noticed that Entenmanns (another manufacturer of such quality foods that will likely give you colon cancer in your mid 20s) was making a knock-off Twinkie.. They sell them in gas-station convenience stores here.
They sell Twinkies over here in Tesco - £2 for two (don't know if that's good as i'm not a regular eater of them)

Strangely, the salesgirl wasn't willing to come back to my hotel to tell the inevitably arriving police officers that swimming trunks are a luxury rather than a necessity,
Hahaha

Growing up in PA, I despise PHL.. It is the worst airport in the US IMHO - and I've hit almost all of them along the east coast of the US. Although King of Prussia mall was always my favorite mall to shop at. Lucky me, I get to make a pit stop in Philly on my way to see family before I fly over. Manayunk and Chestnut Hill are cool neighborhoods in Philly. Full of good places to eat and grab a beer.

I guess any small, high value items where you can avoid import duty. Things like SD cards, headphones (Dr Dre beats things are very popular) etc are small and easy to chuck in a bag. Probably not going to make more than £10-£20 a pop though. Best to look on UK Ebay/Amazon and compare to prices in the US. Then do the math, as they say...
Yes.. probably going to scrap the idea. I may put a few (very lightly used) apple devices in with my household items to sell off after I arrive.. but I believe I am just going to have to get a feel for the UK before attempting to place a chokehold on the ever-thriving iPad resale market.

As said previously by numerous people. You'll make more money importing pop tarts and lucky charms. Although even teach supermarket are now cutting out the overpriced American sweet shops these day.

I'd beware of Stateside PSU that say input volts if 110-120/ 220-240 . Son +DIL often visit her parents in LA.Last year they bought a games console for a lot less than over here. Big name,so son thought all was well . Brought it home, plugged it in and BANG. Console OK, PSU NOT. I opened it to find the mains suppressor capacitor had fried, so I'd suspect it was rated at 120 V AC, NOT the quoted on the box figure. Personally -I'd find an open space, get an extension lead and test each PSU(NOT connected to unit) for some time with UK mains to check it's compatable.

I honestly can't believe anyone would want to eat that stuff, much less pay a premium for it.. Then again, i'm the kind of person that goes out of his way to eat the healthier foods. Guess I'll find out when I arrive!

I'm pretty excited to visit Harrods food hall smile

Fruit Loops. I saw them for £8 a box in Birmingham a few years ago. $2.70 a box in Walmart.
