Iphone Video Uploading

Ive done this in the past but cant remember now how it was done
i have a video i have made of my last scuba dive and i want to get it from laptop to iphone.
ive tried itunes and added the file, but nothing happens or appears
sure i used a piece of software before that could copy the file and change the format so it automatically worked on the iphone
Agree with the YouTube method. A lot easier than using handbrake etc. especially if your PC is slow
1 Upload videos to YouTube - YouTube then encodes the videos to MP4
2 Once uploaded and converted, download the MP4 videos to PC (you don't have to rip being the owner, you'll have a control panel allowing you to save)
3 Add file to library in iTunes
4 Include the new video to be synced with your phone (can't remember how to describe)
I did this with a load of family videos that I had ripped to DVD, but wanted to be able to share with Grandparents who now have Ipads, worked a treat and saved a lot of aggro. Just make sure that you set the privacy status to private if you don't want all and sundry to see your videos.
