I have purchased this now. Now, what can I do with it?

1. Use it for my current website and discard the other?
2. Create new website using the .uk?
3. Just keep it in my portfolio?
4. Something else?

As it happens, my current website hosting company called me and tried to flog me said domain for £150, I refused. I just bought it for £5.99.

You can have two domains pointing to the same site.

So you could simply do that...

I forgot to put that in my list. Cheers.

5. Point it to the same site?

Yeah, don't let the domain go. You might change your mind and find you can't get it back later. smile

On a slightly related point has anyone noticed that WHOIS opt-outs now cost more that the domain itself - at least for a .co.uk. Domain, £6.50 for 2 years, opt-out £9. Utter con.

Although I have discovered that you can logon to Nominet & set the opt-outs yourself for nothing. So the registrar is charging for something that is free. Bobbing rastards.
