As per the title, we are off to France this afternoon and I need to get a proxi so I can watch the F1 in france and the wife can watch some netflix in the evening by the fire.

What is the best one for these two? Don't mind paying for one as long as it works for both and is simple to use.

Any recommendations?

Cheers guys.

Thanks for that, I have just tried it and it is painfully slow here on my Virgin 60mb connection and seems to be unable to load pages 8 times out of 10 after waiting a while to setup a "proxy tunnel". Doubt that is going ot work watch and streaming tv and movies.

Any other suggestions? Like I said I don't mind paying as long as it will work for streaming.

Tried the first one and it just didn't seem to work, had a go with Hola and it is working perfectly here in rural France with only a 4mb connection on netflix and bbc iplayer.

Thanks guys.

Slingbox connects to your home network and allows you control your devices connected to it sky etc.

Don't have to bother with a vpn

Interestingly I was trying to watch the F1 channel on the way to an exhibition and the sky go app needed me to turn on location services for it to work.

So I guess they have built in some low level gps/3G tracker to combat proxy servers.

I need to use SkyGo some overseas and have been downloading lots of films and kids stuff for my infants.

It's downloaded now and just tested one but the message States once viewing is commenced it deletes in 48 hours.... Not good. Also having read the comments here it looks like if I turn on the wifi on the tablets I could end up with nothing being viewable.
