Timpson's put a new battery in my Die phone 5 for £19.99 , it's bloody brilliant, like having a new phone without the bother of carrying a power pack around with you.

I took mine back and they wouldn't give me another one. Tw @t!
Because they're recalling ALL of them.
They told me a new version will be given out soon. Not happened yet!

That was months ago!

Just had a text message from EE asking for the return of my one even though it's a safe batch.
I seems they want nt to give my £20 worth of accessories instead.
Which is nice.

I got the £20 voucher, there isn't a great deal to buy on their site, so I got a selfie stick wink

It looks like there is another power bar for £15 in the accessories shop, I'll be getting one of those with my voucher.

The £15 battery was out of stock when i ordered, so I got one of the £30 ones and paid £10. There was nothing else on the accessories I wanted. Its a Kit 6000mAh power bank (should be worth about 2 charges of my OnePlus One). It's the square one with the LCD number display for the power it has, it looks a bit like an Apple TV, but slightly smaller. I've just charged up my phone again to check it works. All good so far.

I couldn't find the £15 one again either, so ordered the £20 one. I was expecting to have to pay for postage, but that was included too.

How do you know you haven't died?

If I'd died and gone to heaven, I wouldn't be sitting in a Holiday Inn in Bristol eating a burger whilst the wife was 200 miles way

Oh...

I still need to take my two back but I never used them in anger and haven't plugged them in since the last recall - I stumbled across a strip-down of one on Youtube earlier though that was quite interesting:

Big Clive suggests it's a quality product using decent components.

I've got a couple of other powerbars that were freebies from suppliers, I hate to think how shoddiliy they were made.
