How do you disable windows 8 password?

I've followed the steps for disabling it via this way:


However since some updates have downloaded/installed about 2 days ago there is a password back on the computer again

If I go back to the method above it is unticked so I shouldn't be entering passwords. Any idea?

No idea really, but I would try to a re-add a password then log off reboot re-login with new password then go back and disable it.

But it does mean your password (To your Live account?) is just stored in plain text. If that bothers you or not is up to you.
