Problem with Microsoft Office - Help Needed

I use MS Word every working from home. If I open it up I get a blank page - all OK and I print envelope labels day in day out - also all OK
Last Sunday I typed a label on the opening blank page but now I cannot get rid of that text - it comes up every time I open Word and if I delete it I cannot exit the page without saving it with a new file name, hence it keeps re-appearing. The other problem is that whenever I print a label it prints the offending text on the first sheet of paper through the printer and then the label I want on the second sheet.
Does anyone know how to remedy this?

not an expert but I think you may have changed your normal template which is the one that opens each time you start word.
