Is there any way to recover notes from an iCloud iPhone backup?

Swapped my iP5 for a One M8 the other day, backed up and erased as per usual, before trading in.

Thought everything would sync to my iPod touch, which it did, bar my notes. I looked on my iPod at iCloud sync settings and it appears that the notes option is off by default, and assume they were on my iPhone.

Id quite like to retrieve my notes if at all possible, thanks.

There's no option to 'view' anything. All it says is set up find my iPhone and set up iCloud?

I see. I looked in my iPod.

I'll have a look on my MacBook later.

Thanks.

Notes is an odd one as its caught me out before. You have to have an iCloud.com email address for some random reason for it to backup to iCloud. If you don't have that then you are unlikely to have the notes saved in the cloud.

You are correct, and I've been done the same too.

It does have a .icloud account, I know because I set it up so I could sync notes!
