API 'widgety thing'

Hi guys
I am after some help please! I am working on a growing charity project (yes it's motorsport-related!!). We want to add a Just Giving widget thing to the website that will show what the team as a whole has raised, rather than my 'parent' account used to set up the team (we're doing this to raise money for a charity, but we are not a charity ourselves, but not a formal event organiser/manager, so we're in a limbo as to how we get classified by Just Giving as this is the work around).
As brilliant as he has been, my webby chap has admitted defeat in trying to tweak the open-source API stuff to do this. Obviously to the wider public we want to show just how well we're doing in total rather than my 'catch all' account that will be used for text donations etc. Is there anyone experienced in API development who may be able to have a quick look at this. My guy is confident it's pretty simple, but he's never done any major API stuff himself.
